TLDR respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
When you use the app, the text you enter is sent to our backend (Firebase Cloud Functions), which forwards it to OpenAI to generate a summary. We do not store your text content on our servers.
If you use the History feature, your summaries are stored locally on your device only. We do not store this data remotely.
We use Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous identifier for your device. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal information.
We store limited usage data (such as daily summary counts) to enforce free usage limits. This data is tied to an anonymous account and contains no personal information.
If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics automatically collects crash data including device model, OS version, app version, and anonymized stack traces. This data is used solely to diagnose and fix bugs. It is associated with a Crashlytics Installation UUID, not your identity.
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data such as screen views, feature interactions, and general usage patterns. We may also collect device type, OS version, app version, language, and general location (country-level, derived from IP address). This data is aggregated and not linked to your identity.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives your anonymous account identifier and subscription status. No payment information is processed by us directly. All payments are handled by Apple through the App Store.
We do not store your text content. Usage data is retained only as long as needed to provide the service. You can uninstall the app at any time to remove locally stored data from your device.
